I'm thinking about planting peas in my garden this year. I don't like them frozen or canned, but eating fresh baby peas from my own garden sounds quite appealing. Also, if you haven't had pea shoots in your salad, you're missing out on a real treat. (pea shoots=young leaves of a pea plant)
From what I've read, you get a 30-60 percent higher yield, or amount of fruit grown, on trellised plants so I obviously need a trellis. Of course I could buy one, but I'd prefer to use something I have around the house. I not only save money but I can also add some whimsey to my garden.
